You should not have to wonder whether a funeral home is what it says it is. Here is exactly what we check before you ever see one.

The funeral home registers
It enters its establishment license, its expiry, and the funeral director’s license number. Nothing is public yet.

We confirm the license
Our team checks the numbers against the state licensing board before the listing goes live. Unverified homes are never shown.

We keep checking
An automated sweep re-verifies licenses every week. A lapsed or unconfirmed license pauses the listing until it is confirmed again.

Verification means the license was current when we checked it. It is not a promise about how a funeral home will treat you, so please still ask them whatever matters to your family; that is what messaging is for.

Built after seeing what families go through.

Nikola Spadijer founded Eternal Dream in 2026 after experiencing how hard it is to make large decisions quickly, under grief, with prices that only appear once you are already in the room. The industry had never had a place where a family could compare funeral homes the way they compare anything else.

The answer was not another directory. It was a marketplace that verifies every listing, publishes real prices, protects the family’s contact details, and now makes those same verified listings readable by the AI assistants families increasingly ask first.
