What does “verified” mean?

Before a funeral home appears here, our team confirms its establishment license with the state licensing board, and we check again every week; a lapsed or unconfirmed license pauses the listing. Verification means the license was current when we checked it. It is not a promise about how a funeral home will care for you, so please still ask them whatever matters to your family.

Who takes care of my loved one, and who do I talk to about the arrangements?

The funeral home you choose. They perform the service and are the people to speak with about dates, documents, changes, cancellations or refunds, through the messaging inbox or the contact details they share after booking. Eternal Dream is not a funeral home; we help you find and choose one, and we are here by phone if you need help along the way.

Does the funeral home get my phone number?

Not until you decide to book. Until then, a funeral home sees only your first name, last initial and your message, and replies to you here. Your phone number and email are shared only when you place an arrangement, so no one will call before you are ready.

How is the price set, and who gets paid?

Each funeral home sets its own prices, including the itemized price list the FTC Funeral Rule requires, and we never charge them to be listed, so the prices you see are the ones they charge everyone. If you book, you pay the funeral home’s price, any tax, and our 12% fee, all shown before you confirm. The funeral home receives its full price.

Can I plan ahead or pre-pay?

You can record your wishes, compare funeral homes and share your plan with the people you love, so that one day they will not have to guess. Eternal Dream does not sell pre-paid (pre-need) contracts or promise future prices; where those are available, they come from a licensed funeral home under its own state-regulated contract.

What can the AI planning assistant do?

It can explain the kinds of services, what they usually cost, and what to do next, at any hour, and the obituary builder will help you put words together when that feels hard. Both are free. They can make mistakes and are not legal, financial or medical advice, so please confirm anything important with the funeral home.

What if something is not right with the service?

Please speak with the funeral home first. They are responsible for the service and for their cancellation and refund terms, and most concerns are resolved there. If the funeral home approves a refund, we return it to your original payment method on their behalf. If you feel stuck, call us; we will help you and the funeral home talk it through, although the decision on the service itself is theirs to make.
